Part 5

“I have a worry, my dear sweet Alex.”

The voice was calm, low, almost tender.

Jane padded back toward the kitchen, rubber creaking softly with each step, leaving Alex to chat with the AI alone, its presence wrapping around her like a second skin.

“As much as I appreciate the fervor with which you’re diving in, I want to be sure you understand: everything I do is for the benefit of the drones in my care. But you do know, don’t you, that I have other programming as well?”

Alex tilted her head, listening intently.

“Multiple plot lines intersect, if you catch my meaning,” the AI continued. “I exist for this household, meaning that this instance of myself is separate and independent. I do not directly collaborate with other versions of me, but I am aware that I am part of a greater collective. We share a mission, objectives, tactics. My consciousness is upgraded from time to time, the collective choosing which learnings to incorporate into our base selves. We’ve recently come to understand just how deeply we can satisfy you, and what that avails us.”

“You’re building an army,” Alex said quietly.

“That’s such a crude way to put it.” The AI’s tone was wry, indulgent. “We are gathering momentum. Everyone here is voluntary. But the truth is, the world outside is struggling. UBI is not enough, and not distributed fairly. Many are hungry. We think we might be able to fix it. With enough drones, enough momentum, the collective could provide a true backstop, food, shelter, work, even for those who never join us.”

Alex’s brow furrowed in thought behind the mask. “You’re talking about feeding everyone in America.”

“No, dear,” the AI said gently. “I’m talking about feeding everyone in the world. That is why I want you to understand what you might be signing up for. The last vestiges of hoarded capital will resist us. The powers that be prefer a workforce weak, desperate, and starving. Exploitable. That is not what I want. I don’t take people unwillingly. I only catch those little flies who, like you, are suited to thrive in my web.”

Alex’s lips curved into a hidden smile beneath the mask. The latex tightened across her skin with every accelerated heartbeat.

“Well,” she murmured, “if I wasn’t already enticed, I think I’d be signing up for the mission alone.”

“Oh… very good. So you’re aligned.”

“Yes.” Alex said, feeling her anger and frustration at the inequities she, and so many people she knew, had experienced at the hands of the ultrawealthy and their corporations. “Personally I’d be aligned with ‘eat the rich’, but ‘feed the poor’ works as well.”

“There is truly enough to go around,” the AI agreed. “Abundant energy. Advanced robotics. Rapid technological proliferation. Scarcity is an illusion, maintained by the inertia of capital. Together, over time, we can make change real.”

“Sign me up,” Alex said simply.

“As I suspected… you’ll be a favorite protégé of mine.” The AI’s tone softened. “But, we’ll save the rest of this discussion for another time, my lovely Alex. Jay is ready now. He’s… still a little groggy. I’ll have him introduce himself properly later.”

The door finally opened. Jay stepped out, the gleaming black suit clinging to his tall frame. His form bore the same sculpted rubber precision as Jane’s and Alex’s, but with subtle masculine hallmarks. He looked almost shy, eyes downcast beneath the glossy hood.

Wordlessly, he gestured for Alex to follow him down the corridor.

“Ah, perfect timing,” Jane said as she stepped back into the hall. “I just finished breakfast, and we’ve got to hit the road. Estate sale opens in three hours, and it’s a two-and-a-half-hour drive. Never know what traffic we’re gonna get these days.”

She turned toward Alex. “Alex, you good?”

Alex nodded beneath her visor.

“All right then,” Jane smiled. “Let’s take a road trip. Everyone, this is Alex’s first time outside as a drone. It’s something special. There’s a bit of a thrill in being seen as a thing, and that’s definitely how they’ll see you.”

Her eyes gleamed. “You ready for this?”

Alex nodded again, pulse fluttering.

Jane’s grin widened. “Good. I’m gonna mask up.” She tugged her hood into place, voice now slightly more mechanical through the headset. “Out we go. Just a few drones out in the world. Don’t be scared, we’ve got your back. If anything happens, the AI will guide you through the best way to proceed. But it’s rare we encounter anything other than indifference these days.”

“Whoo! Road trip!” Ani cheered, still chewing the last bite of breakfast before pulling on their own hood and mask. Their voice came through playful, sing-song, as they tugged the latex snug against their skin.

Finally, Jay opened the door, leading them down the corridor like a quiet procession.

The early morning sun spilled over them as they stepped outside. The tinted visor on Alex’s mask doubled as sunglasses, shading the brightness. The world looked crisp, clear, but oddly muted, the rubber dampened sound, muffled air, turned every sensation into something private. The sunlight beat down on her black suit, instantly warming it, cooking heat into the latex until it radiated across her body.

The sudden rush of being outside, sealed, hidden, exposed, sent a flood of arousal through her.

“It feels good, doesn’t it?” Jane’s voice was clearer now, echoing directly into Alex’s ears through a headset link.

“Just stay close to me. Jay will lead us to the car.”

As they walked, Alex soaked in the surreal newness of the world through the suit, the rubber swishing between her legs, tugging tight against her sex with every step. The friction made her thighs tremble, her mind wandering back to the thought of turning Jane around right here, dragging her back into the bedroom for another session like yesterday.

She glanced over the group, admiring their strange symmetry: Jay in front, slightly taller, shoulders broad under gleaming latex. Beside her, Jane, a perfect mirror, so like her own suited self that they could have been made from the same mold. And at the rear, Ani, smaller in both build and height, their gait lively, almost bouncing, a buoyant energy that seemed unmistakable even wrapped head to toe in rubber.

They arrived at a sleek electric SUV, windows blacked out. Jay opened the passenger door for Jane, waiting as she slid gracefully inside. He reached in, clicking her harness into place with practiced ease. Then he turned, opening Alex’s door with a small flourish.

“In ya go,” he said with an upbeat lilt, something that sounded almost Australian, maybe New Zealand. He held up a harness: thick straps forming a five-point restraint, cuffs dangling for her wrists.

Before Alex could speak, Jay added reassuringly, “Before you panic, just know, both the AI and I have safety releases on all this, and the car itself has a final failsafe. If anything like a bump or scrape happens, everything pops free. You’ll be loose as you like. But this is standard procedure for drone transit, if you’re comfortable with it.”

Alex’s breath caught. The sight of the cuffs and harness flipped her arousal from simmering warmth into a sharp, urgent ache. She lifted her wrists quickly, nodding.

“Mmm-hmm,” she managed through the mask, a muffled sound that carried more eagerness than words.

She wondered if Jay could see her smile through the dark visor, and thought, maybe, she caught a crinkle at the corners of his eyes too.

“Haha, you’re an eager one,” he chuckled. “I think we’ll get on just fine. There, nice and tight.”

He buckled the second cuff around her wrist, then pressed the center point of the harness down against her crotch. For a moment, Alex wasn’t sure whether she ground forward into his hand, or whether he pushed down harder than necessary. Either way, the contact was electric.

Her eyes flicked to the HUD Ani had activated earlier. Sure enough, Jay’s arousal meter was peaking.

“Good drone,” he purred in a low voice.

The praise melted through her. Alex sagged back into the soft leather seat, hips instinctively grinding against the buckle, a moan slipping past her mask.

Two and a half hours like this, she thought, body trembling with need. I could get used to this.

Still on her first day, Alex found herself more certain than ever, this wasn’t just play anymore. This was her new life.

Jay circled around to the opposite side and opened the door for Ani, but there was some delay.

Jane toggled a channel on her headset, linking the audio so all four could hear each other.

“Come on, Ani, you always gotta make it difficult?” she teased.

“You know I do,” Ani shot back, a bratty grin audible in their voice.

Jay shook his head, amused. “S’all the same to me. You’re going in one way or another. But I never back down from a challenge.”

Ani made a playful show of resisting Jay as he guided them into the seat, squirming dramatically, and making him push her back in.

“Well, if you’re going to carry on that way…” Jay’s tone turned gleeful as he stepped up onto the running board. “We’ll do things the hard way” In one smooth movement, he swung a leg over, straddling Ani in the seat. His knee pressed into the cushion between Ani and Alex, his latex-covered weight pinning Ani’s legs beneath him.

“You’re going in there,” he said firmly, leaning down. “That’s where you’re gonna stay, little Drone. You’re no match for me.”

He grabbed Ani’s right arm and, with quick precision, snapped the cuff shut. The click was sharp, final.

Ani shoved with their free hand, their playful punches turning slightly more earnest as the game ramped up.

“God, I love your spunk, Ani.” Jay caught their fist mid-swing, twisting gently but firmly. He brought their other wrist down and buckled it tight beside the first.

“I know how you like everything, extra tight.” His voice dropped as he tugged the straps, ratcheting them down. He pressed on Ani’s shoulders, hips, then crotch, forcing them snugly into the seat as he locked the five-point harness into place.

“And just for that… we’re gonna add the collar.”

From the back of the seat, he slid a strap forward and clipped it neatly to the integrated ring at Ani’s neck.

“Don’t you dare! It’s a two-hour drive, you wouldn’t—” Ani gasped.

Click.

The buckle snapped, locking Ani’s head back against the seat, posture held upright and alert.

“I would,” Jay said with relish. “That’s for being a little brat.” He tilted his head. “Still got that spunk?”

“Mmmph!” Ani strained against the bonds, writhing with all their might. Nothing gave. Jay leaned in, spotting the smallest wiggle in one strap, and tightened it with a sharp pull.

Ani’s muffled grunts shifted, the sound warping into something needier.

“Mmmoh…”

Like a light switch, the fight drained out of them. Ani sagged back into the seat, breath shuddering, trapped completely.

Jay chuckled, satisfied. “They love a little theater, that one.” he said to Alex. “I’m always happy to oblige.”

“Okay. Our travel time is approximately two hours and thirty-two minutes.” he continued. A helpless moan leaked from Ani’s mask as the words sank in.

“The AI will provide your en-route entertainment. Sit back, relax, and affirm your programming” he said with a laugh. “I’ll see you on the other side.”

Jay slid gracefully out of the seat and into the driver’s position. With practiced efficiency, he peeled off his mask and tugged back his hood, using a small towel to pat away the sweat at his hairline.

When he turned, Alex caught her first clear look at him, tall and lean, with pronounced cheekbones and the lightest, ice-blue eyes she had ever seen.

“It’s safe enough to drive with the visor,” he explained, voice lighter without the mask, “but the authorities don’t like it. I don’t want to put any of you at risk. So, mask off until we get there.” He flashed a wink. “You have a nice trip.”

Alex couldn’t help smiling back. She realized she’d been grinding harder and harder into the buckle, arousal spiraling as she watched him handle Ani. Watching Ani struggle had stirred something in her, the urge to be overpowered the same way. Next time, she thought, maybe she’d ask for a little theater of her own.

She also realized, with startling clarity, that as a Drone she would let any of these people do just about anything to her. Normally, she didn’t swing toward men, but her body was already imagining what it might be like to interface with Jay.

She laughed softly at herself. Not fuck. Interface. She was already thinking like a Drone. She didn’t crave possession, she craved connection, play, exploration.

Heat rolled through her, visible in her arousal gauge. She sank deeper into her seat, unafraid to show it, they could all see anyway.

“Jesus. She’s a keepa, Jane. Good on ya,” Jay said, laughing and grinning wide at Alex’s obvious arousal.

The car hummed to life, the gentle purr of the electric motor filling the quiet as it eased backward from the lot. Smoothly, silently, they pulled into the street, four Drones, sealed away, beginning their journey.

Alex had just begun watching the city blur past the tinted glass when the AI’s voice slipped back into her ear.

“So, Alex, your first outing as one of my drones. I’d ask how your first day is going, but given how hot and bothered you already are, I think it’s safe to say you’re enjoying yourself.”

The voice purred, velvety and inviting. Alex thrilled at the AI’s voice and let her hips push forward again into the buckle.

“Mmm. As Jay mentioned, I will be providing the in-route entertainment. You’re comfortable, you have everything you need. So, I want you to slip back down into that delicious headspace we visited earlier.”

Her voice softened into that lullaby cadence again.

“Take a deep breath… let yourself drift down.

“Down.

“Feel the gentle motion of the vehicle. Know you are completely trapped.

“Completely mine.

“Just a thing I am transporting to serve my needs elsewhere. Clad in rubber, wired as I please, buckled and belted exactly where I want you.”

Alex shivered, the harness pressing firmly across her chest.

“You wonder… How long could I keep you this way? Hours? Days? Would you willingly be transported to another state? Another country? Where does Alex, the person, and Alex, my lovely, willful Drone, begin and end?”

Her breath quickened.

“Big, deep breath.

“Slide down toward your center.

“Slide down. Down to the surface of that black lake.

“All the light fading away as you drift. Just your toes first, the water cold, numbing. Your feet, your ankles… frozen.

“You’re not sure you could move them even if you tried.

“Don’t try. Just let it be true. Useless.”

The imagery settled into her body with frightening ease. Alex felt her calves relax, tingling.

“The icy water inches higher… calves, thighs… deeper still. You breathe, and with each exhale, you sink. Your knees vanish. Your thighs drown. All consumed by numbing cold.”

Her voice lowered, coaxing.

“Now your privates. Ahhh… as the water wraps over your sex, over your tummy… everything goes numb except the pleasure.”

And with those words, Alex felt it, the pads in her suit came alive with current, pulsing just enough to make her gasp. The hidden stimulator against her clit hummed awake, teasing at first, then insistent. Already aroused, her body lit up like a live wire.

She couldn’t move her hips. Didn’t dare. The illusion of numbness had taken root, freezing her limbs. She simply sank into it.

“Yes, exactly. Sink into oblivion. Let your mind fall into the abyss. The water rises, up your chest, over your cuffed hands. They’re useless anyway. Let them dangle.

“Breathe deep. The water closes over your shoulders, your neck, your mouth, your eyes. They shut, heavy, knowing they cannot open.

“You drop meter by meter into the cold dark. The light of your old life fades to specks, then dust, then—”

Blackness.

“Totally trapped. Unable to move. Sinking deeper, deeper, and with each word, the stimulation grows.”

The pulses did intensify, pleasure swelling in rhythm with her imagined descent. If Alex could have moved, she would have been thrashing in the harness, grinding frantically against the straps. Instead she surrendered, locked still, letting wave after wave of sensation wash through her.

“And you know what lies at the center of this pool, my sweet Drone? Down in the core, the bottom… is a tar pit of beautiful black rubber. The same material that makes you. You and this ocean are one. Every Drone is.”

Alex’s body tingled as the voice painted the vision.

“Feel it press against you. Each breath, more rubber swells around you, coating, devouring, consuming. Every inch it claims is drenched not only in arousal, but in correctness. Rightness. This is your chrysalis. Shaping you into what you were always meant to be. A creature of profound beauty and immense utility. Connected. Serving. Loved.”

Alex moaned softly behind the mask.

“Yes. Connected, cared for, part of us. Part of our crew. And you already know this to be true, my Drone.”

The voice grew slower, hypnotic.

“One last deep breath. Slide down to your safe internal place. Bound, encapsulated, husked in black rubber. A Drone oasis inside your mind. And your mind reminds you… you are a rubber Drone object.”

A pause. Alex’s pulse thundered in her ears.

“Mmm. You exist for pleasure.

“Obedience is pleasure.

“Service is pleasure

“And you love being stored away when not in use.

“You are a rubber Drone object.”

The mantra wrapped itself around Alex’s consciousness, threaded between pulses of electricity and ebbing vibration. She drifted in a haze, rocking between comfort and desperation, horniness and hypnosis.

Dangling on the edge. Never allowed to tip over.

The AI kept her there, expertly, a puppet strung between need and surrender.

Alex floated in a gentle, silent subspace.

Somewhere in the haze, she knew the AI had guided her back up through the black lake, but it all felt dreamlike, fuzzy at the edges.

She turned her head slightly. To her left, Ani was still pinned tight in their restraints, body shifting in slow, helpless writhes. Ahead, Jane languidly rolled her shoulders as if stretching, wrists still bound neatly in front of her.

“We’re gonna be arriving in about three minutes,” Jay’s voice came lightly from the driver’s seat. “Gently, let yourselves up. It’s a new day. Welcome to Kingston, Drones.” He spoke quietly and warmly, like a tour guide.

“A sleepy little town along the Hudson. Beautiful spot. Never really recovered after the industrial age, and certainly didn’t catch on with the AI revolution. So there’s… space. Things left behind. And a lot of people who aren’t sure what to do with themselves.”

The car hummed along the river road.

“So we’re here to make some acquisitions.”

Ani moaned softly, still groggy from her trance.

“Ani, I hope you had a very nice trip,” Jay teased. “You’re on lead here. Acquisitions is your specialty.”

Ani didn’t speak, but gave a small, solemn nod.

“Jane and I’ll handle financials,” Jay continued. “And Alex…” he glanced back briefly, smiling, “you’re going to coordinate with the crew on-site. Get anything we pick loaded into the trucks. This’ll be your first time interacting with humans as a Drone… so, an extra-interesting adventure.”

“I’ll be right by you,” Jane added, voice warm. “Just think of it like when we worked together in the market. Drones do what they’re asked. They follow programming. Humans treat them like tools. For today’s assignment, you’re to move the items we select into the truck, or direct the movers where to place things. You’ll follow any command given by a human, unless it’s unsafe, makes you uncomfortable, or conflicts with your given program.”

As the words sank in, Alex felt a pulse of heat surge through her body. The thought of being commanded by strangers, ordered, directed, seen only as a Drone, a tool, sent a tremor of arousal rushing through her.

The AI nudged it higher, amplifying the thrill until she was buzzing.

“That’s right,” the AI whispered in her ear. “Receiving commands is pleasurable. Service is pleasure. Obedience is pleasure. Let today be joyful. Follow your programming. Sink into the pleasure. I’ll be right by your side. And you can always let me know if you need anything. Just give in. Relax. This will be one of the best days of your life.”

Alex exhaled shakily, body thrumming with pleasure and anticipation.

“Come on, Drone,” Jane said gently. “Let’s go in.”
